Last updated: 26 July 2026
The Kasai Memorial Foundation was established on 21 July 2026 as a cultural and historical initiative based in Gifu City, Japan.
We seek to research, record and communicate the history, people, places and local memories associated with the Kasai clan. We distinguish verified facts, scholarly interpretations and oral traditions, and we revise our content when reliable new evidence becomes available.
We organise documents, photographs, oral accounts and local historical information while respecting ownership, copyright and privacy.
We present historical topics in clear language through websites, videos, articles, exhibitions and learning activities.
We welcome information, cooperation and participation from residents, researchers, cultural organisations and future generations.
The name “Foundation” is used as the name of the initiative and does not, by itself, indicate legal incorporation.
